The Wintergreen yurt will offer you a moment of tranquility and relaxation in the middle of the forest. Perched on stilts, the enchanting setting of the pines will allow you to disconnect and let go. Wintergreen is a 20' off-grid yurt that does not compromise on creature comforts. You will have a minimum of electricity thanks to the solar panel, private access to a compost toilet for your comfort as well as several water supplies, an cooler and a BBQ.
Able to accommodate up to 6 people, Wintergreen is equipped with an indoor wood-burning fireplace, a counter space including dishes and basic accessories as well as 2 bunk beds for 3 people each including sheets sets an pillows. Board games for rainy days as well as reading for all are available to you. Two hammocks will allow you to relax under the trees and a community outdoor fire pit on the waterfront is offered to you to enjoy evenings outside.

''What a beautiful yurt! On arrival we were greeted by Patrick, Dorothee, and the kids (and animals :)). They showed us to the yurt and explained the ‘how-to’s’. We also received fresh eggs which was a homely touch!
The yurt itself was immaculate. From bedding, to the floor, to the composting toilet - it was so clean!! They also provided with essential cooking supplies and dishware. Outside was a propane burner and bbq. Though no electricity, we still had low lighting in the night from string lights above. Though a campsite was set out by the water (5-min walk through trail), we decided not to use it.
The yurt was also a perfect distance from the cute town of Shelburne. Just enough to feel distanced and isolated but close to amenities if needed. We walked on the trail into town with our pup and it was lovely.

''Patrick & Dorothee we’re such kind and generous hosts (even providing us with farm fresh eggs!). The yurts really are something special and they’ve done an amazing job with their location. We all wished we’d stayed a little longer to enjoy the serenity and explore the area. Their kids were also great recommending beaches and trails. What more could you ask for!''
